LEARN TO SKATE PROGRAM
Our Learn to Skate program provides a fun, supportive introduction to roller skating for beginners of all ages. Skaters progress through four levels while building confidence, balance, control, and foundational artistic skating skills. Whether they are stepping on skates for the first time or preparing for more advanced training, HAST provides a pathway to help every skater grow.
Skate rental is an additional $5 fee
Level one
Level 1 is designed for young and beginner skaters who are new to roller skating or are still building confidence on wheels.
Perfect for: First-time skaters and beginners
Focus: Balance • Confidence • Control • Basic Skills
Goal: Build a strong foundation while developing a love for skating.
Sundays 9-9:30 AM
level two
Skaters will work on forward and backward skating, stopping, transitions, and improved balance and control while beginning to explore artistic skating skills.
Perfect for: Beginner skaters with basic skating experience
Focus: Control • Balance • Turns • Edges • Transitions
Goal: Develop stronger skating skills and prepare for the next level.

level three
Skaters will develop stronger edges, footwork, transitions, turns, skating patterns, and introductory artistic elements, while building confidence and consistency.
Perfect for: Skaters with a solid skating foundation
Focus: Edges • Footwork • Turns • Transitions • Technique
Goal: Build the skills and confidence needed for more advanced artistic skating.

Level four
Skaters will work on advanced edges, footwork, turns, transitions, artistic movement, musicality, and performance skills while preparing for the next step in their skating journey.
Perfect for: Experienced Learn to Skate students ready for advanced skills

Goal: Prepare skaters for advanced training, performances, and the competitive pathway.

homeschool skate
A fun, 30-minute artistic roller skating class designed with beginners in mind, but open to skaters of all levels. Skaters will work on balance, skating fundamentals, coordination, and basic artistic skating skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
